Man sues Uber for 45m euros for blowing lid off affair, divorce

This could have happened to anyone.

Man uses wife's phone to connect to his Uber app to request a cab, after which he logs out.

Unbeknownst to him, however, the app continues to send updates on his travels to his wife's phone.

So far, so good. Here's where the story alters slightly for this man from southern France. Thanks to the updates his wife got to know he was having an affair with another woman, and promptly divorces him.

Last heard, man has sued Uber for 45 million euros, and the ride aggregator has refused to comment on the matter. You can read more of this story, here.
