Rahul's reply to Modi: PM mocks Uttarakhand tragedy, gives no answers

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi who is campaigning in Meerut, UP, today hits back at the PM for his snarky remark in Parliament today that an earthquake had finally hit.


Rahul tweeted, "The Prime Minister mocks the tragedy of Uttarakhand and insults the freedom struggle but has no answers to the Opposition's questions. "

OfficeofRG, Rahul's Twitter handle posted a set of questions that he said the PM has not answered.

"What is the amount of black money recovered after 8th November 2016?
What is the economic loss to the nation and number of jobs lost?
How many people who died due to demonetisation have been compensated?
Who did the PM consult on demonetisation?
Why were experts, economists, RBI not consulted?
Who all deposited more than Rs 25 lakh in bank accounts in six months preceding 8th Novmber 2016."


Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an attack on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi during his Lok Sabha address today saying Rahul had said that an earthquake would strike if he was given the opportunity to speak. Mocking Gandhi, PM Modi referred to Monday's earthquake that shook north India and said that the quake had finally "hit' the region, months after Gandhi's "threat'."
