Subrata Roy's parole extended, Aamby Valley seized

The Supreme Court orders the attachment of Sahara Group's property worth Rs 39,000 crore at Aamby Valley in Pune. The court asks Sahara to give a list of unencumbered properties that can be put to public auction to realise remaining Rs 14,000 crore of principle amount. Sahara deposits Rs 600 crore as per the last order of the SC. Matter to be heard on February 20.

But in good news for Subrata Roy, the court has extended the parole of the Sahara chief yet again. In its hearing today, Roy's parole -- he has been out of jail since May 5, 2016 -- after his mother expired.
