Ramkumar Ramanathan beat Finn Tearney 7-5, 6-1, 6-0 to give India unassailable 3-1 lead over New Zealand.

India through to Davis Cup Round 2 of the Asia-Oceania Group 1 and now will face Uzbekistan in the second round, scheduled for April 7-9.
