Former Union minister E Ahamed laid to rest

Former Union minister and IUML President, E Ahamed, who passed away at Delhi early yesterday, was laid to rest at the City Jumma Masjid in Kannur, Kerala, today with full state honours. The body, covered with the national flag, was brought to the Masjid for the burial around noon and hundreds had converged to pay their last respects to the leader.
