1st ceasefire violation in 2017: Unprovoked firing by Pak at BSF camp

J&K: Unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan took place in Samba sector at about 15:30 hours, says the BSF. A BSF post in Samba was hit by three to four bursts of automatic weapon's fire from Pakistan's side, followed by propelled grenades that fell nearby. No casualties. Details awaited.

There have been 110 ceasefire violations by Pakistan since the surgical strikes in September 2016. This is the first ceasefire violation this year.
