Newly-weds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma shared the first picture of their honeymoon in Europe. The precise location is a closely-guarded secret, much like the date and destination of their wedding on December  11, but is probably in Italy as well. Anushka shared the picture on Instagram saying, "In heaven, literally." Her mehendi-stained hand clutching Virat.


The intimate wedding was attended by close friends and family by and pictures were shared only on the date of the wedding on December 11.

After the wedding Anushka shared a picture of the couple with the wedding planners, saying, "The people responsible for making the most memorable occasion of our lives peaceful and beyond beautiful - our lovely wedding planners @ShaadiSquad"


In fact it was Virat Kohli who revealed on social media that were man and wife when he tweeted, Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you.This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.

The couple will host a reception for family and friends in New Delhi on December 21 and then another reception in Mumbai on December 26.
