Himachal under a blanket of snow

Heavy snowfall in parts of Himachal Pradesh has intensified cold across the hill state. The snowfall disrupted normal life as several roads were closed and power supply was disrupted in many parts of Shimla district. In last 24 hours Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti recorded minimum temperature at -4.9 degrees Celsius, Kalpa -1.0, Dalhousie -0.2, Manali recorded zero degree Celsius and Shimla 3.4 degrees Celsius.
