The Disaster Management Cell, Mumbai, says that the IMD informs that Cyclone Ockhi is 300 km West-South West of Mumbai. It is likely to continue to move North-North Eastward, weaken gradually and will cross South Gujarat and North Maharashtra coast as a deep depression by the 5th December 2017. A high tide is expected to hit Mumbai shores at 12:39 pm and is likely to measure 4.22 metres in height. High tide accompanied by heavy rain can cause water logging. But the weather has not predicted heavy rain for Mumbai.
