Sand-artist Sudarsan Pattnaik attacked in Puri

Renowned sand-artist Sudarsan Pattnaik was hospitalised with an injury on Sunday evening after a miscreant attempted to snatch his wrist watch, the Times of India reported.

According to the report, the incident took place at the venue of the International Sand Art Festival in Puri, Odisha, which started on 1 December.

Pattnaik was rushed to the district headquarters hospital in Puri for treatment.

He received injuries after being pushed by the miscreant at the crowded venue.
