Sensex rises 180 point after yesterday's slump

Stock markets opened on Wednesday despite yesterday's torrential downpour. On Tuesday, Rupee-denominated corporate bond deals slumped 84 per cent, while trading on the National Stock Exchanges Nifty 50 index was 13 per cent lower than the three-month daily average, Livemint reported.
