Aberrations in personal law can now be rectified: Jaitley

Majority view of the Supreme Court will be the law of the land, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Tuesday following the apex court ruling barring instant talaq.

The SC judgement on triple talaq is a great victory and a welcome step, Jaitley said, and after the SC judgment on triple talaq, aberrations in personal laws which infringe constitutional guarantees can be rectified.
