PM Modi tweets approval of AIADMK merger

Tamil Nadu's ruling party today abandoned its differences and came together with Palaniswami as chief minister and O Panneerselvam as the deputy CM.

As the warring AIADMK factions came together, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured all support to Tamil Nadu government for the growth of the state.

I congratulate Thiru O Panneerselvam & others who took oath today. I hope Tamil Nadu scales newer heights of progress in the years to come, PM Modi tweeted.

In another tweet, he said, Centre assures all possible support to CM Edappadi K Palaniswami & Dy CM O Panneerselvam for the growth of Tamil Nadu.
