Rebel Cong MLAs' votes invalid, declares EC

JUST IN: The Election Commission rejects votes of both rebel Congress MLAs in Gujarat Rajya Sabha polls.

The Congress alleged that since MLAs Bhola Bhai Gohil and Raghav Bhai Patel showed their votes to people other than authorised representatives, their votes should be rejected.

The EC accepted their demands after much deliberation.

Now the counting of votes will start.
