Rajasthan: Salman Khan leaves after appearing in Jodhpur Sessions Court in connection with illegal arms act case; further hearing on 5 October.

In October 1998, Khan was charged with possessing an unlicensed .22 rifle and a .32 revolver and using them to poach two black bucks at Jodhpurs Kankani village. The 51-year-old actor was required to present himself before the district and session judge to present a bail bond of Rs 20,000 as per an April 21 order, defence counsel Hastimal Saraswat said.

The Rajasthan high court had acquitted Khan last year in a case pertaining to the poaching of two chinkaras. The black buck trial is now nearing completion.
