Two terrorists killed in Kulgam; encounter underway in Shopian

Two terrorists are believed to have been killed in a brief gunfight with the security forces in South Kashmir's Kulgam district last night.
In another incident, an encounter is underway between the security forces and terrorists at the Imam Sahab area of South Kashmir's Shopian district.
Three Army personnel have been injured in the encounter.
At least two to three terrorists are believed to have been trapped in the area.
Further details are awaited.
Earlier on Wednesday, suspecting presence of terrorists, the Indian Army and the police launched a cordon and search operation at the Sugan village of Shopian district. -- ANI
