Mehbooba pays tribute to slain armymen

J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy CM N Singh and J Sandhu, GOC 15 Corps at the wreath-laying ceremony of Army personnel who lost their lives in the Shopian encounter.

Three Army personnel were martyred during an encounter with terrorists in south Kashmir's Shopian district on Thursday morning, police said.

According to police, the three Armymen injured in the gunfight were airlifted to 92 military base hospital in Srinagar where Major Kamlesh Pandey and soldiers identified as Tenzin and Kripal Singh succumbed to bullet injuries.
