In his dying declaration, dairy farmer Pehlu Khan who was lynched to death by gau rakshaks in Rajashtan's Alwar district, said that the mob told him that "whoever passes Behror with a cow will be beaten up".

Behror, on the Jaipur highway, is where the incident happened.
