GST Bills in RS tomorrow; BJP issues whip to MPs

The Goods and Services Tax supplementary bills will be discussed in Rajya Sabha tomorrow.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has issued a whip to its Rajya Sabha members, asking them to remain present in the house for next two days.

The ruling party doesn't have a majority in the upper house.

Lats week, the Central GST Bill, 2017; The Integrated GST Bill, 2017; The GST (Compensation to States) Bill, 2017; and The Union Territory GST Bill, 2017 were passed by the Lok Sabha after negation of a host of amendments moved by the opposition parties. -- ANI
