Nepal urges SAARC members to 'create conducive' atmosphere for summit

Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has 'urged' all the member states of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation to 'create a conducive environment' for the upcoming summit in Islamabad.

'Nepal government urges that a conducive environment be created soon to ensure participation of all member states in 19th SAARC summit,' Nepal MoFA said.

'Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and India conveyed inability to participate in SAARC because of current environment, weve taken it seriously,' Nepal, the chair of SAARC, said.
