We mourn the sad passing of Major General K K Tewari (retd) in Auroville on Monday afternoon. Our senior contributor Claude Arpi -- who is married to Abha, one of the general's daughters -- recorded General Tewari's experiences during the 1962 War with China in this memorable piece.
