Uri attack: HM Rajnath Singh chairs high level meet

Emergency meeting is underway at Home Minister Ranath Singh's residence after terrorists attacked army headquarters in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 17 jawans.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, IB and R&AW chiefs, Union home secretary, top army, paramilitary and home ministry officials are attending the high level meeting.

According to an army spokesperson, four terrorists were gunned down by the army.

The Home Minister postponed his visit to Russia and US to review the situation arising out of the terror attack.
