UK condemns terror attack in Uri

Britain's Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has condemned the terror attack in Uri in which 17 soldiers were killed and 19 others sustained injuries.

The UK strongly condemns this mornings terrorist attack in Kashmir. I offer my deepest condolences to the victims and their families and friends," Johnson said in a statement.

"The UK condemns all forms of terrorism, and stands shoulder to shoulder with India in the fight against terrorism, and in bringing the perpetrators to justice," the statement said.
