'IS soldier' carried out Minnesota mall stabbings: Amaq

A "soldier" of the Islamic State group carried out the stabbings at a mall in the US state of Minnesota that left eight people wounded, a jihadist-linked news agency said today.

"The executor of the stabbing attacks in Minnesota on Saturday was a soldier of the Islamic State who carried out the operation in response to calls to target citizens of countries belonging to the crusader coalition," Amaq news agency said.

At least eight people were wounded in a stabbing attack at a shopping mall in the US state of Minnesota, before the suspected attacker was shot dead by police,
