Additional army brigade deployed in South Kashmir after clashes

An additional army brigade has been deployed in South Kashmir to assist the civil administration in maintaining peace after clashes erupted in Anatnag district despite curfew on Tuesday.

Fresh clashes broke out between security forces and protestors in Anantnag of South Kashmir after the body of a missing youth from the district was found in Shopian.

Locals alleged that he died due to pellet injuries.

All 10 districts of Kashmir Valley are under curfew on the occasion of Eid on Tuesday.
