Gujarat HC sends notice to Pokemon Go developers for offending religious sentiments

In response to a PIL filed with the Gujarat high court claiming that Pokemon Go offends religious sentiments notices have been sent to the Centre, the state government and the US based Niantic Inc.

The petitioner has said eggs are considered as non-vegetarian food, and it is blasphemous to carry non-vegetarian food inside a place of worship of Hindus and Jains.
