PM pays rich tributes to Sardar Patel on his 141st birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid rich tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 141st birth anniversary.

The day is being celebrated as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' (National Unity Day).

"I bow to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary. We recall his rich contribution to India,' PM Modi said on his official Twitter handle.

PM Modi also offered floral tributes at Sardar Patel's statue at Patel Chowk in Delhi's Parliament Street.
