Six civilians have been injured as Pakistan continued to violate the ceasefire in Jammu-Kashmir's RS Pura sector.

On Wednesday, a Border Security Force jawan was injured. Pakistani Rangers pounded civilian areas and Indian military posts in two sectors of the International Border.

The constant cross-border firing has forced authorities to close schools and border residents have moved out of their homes, fearing for their lives.

The Pakistani side has been targeting Indian posts and civilian areas with heavy mortar and small arms fire.

Several villages along the International Border wear a deserted look as the residents have decided to migrate to safer places after Pakistan violated the ceasefire, targeting the civilian population.
