Modi to host Diwali Milan for journos on Nov 3

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a Diwali Milan for the capital's media on November 3 at the BJP headquarters on 11, Ashoka Road in Delhi, where he is expected to meet and interact with approximately 2500 journalists from the print, television and wire agencies.

The SPG is making elaborate security arrangements for the same as this year the prime minister is keen on meeting correspondents individually and not in a crowd, to prevent the selfie craze from eroding the possibility of private conversation with him as happened during the 2014 Diwali Milan he had hosted.

Others hosting a Diwali Milan for New Delhi's media are Union ministers Prakash Javdekar and JP Nadda, both from the BJP.
