JUST IN: Assistant sub-inspector of BSF injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in RS Pura sector of Jammu, says BSF.

On Monday, six people were injured in the ceasefire violation by Pakistan forces in J&Ks RS Pura sector. This is the second ceasefire violation by Pakistan in two days.

In todays attack, Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Noushera sector and RS Pura sector on International Border by targeting Indian positions and civilian population. The Indian side was also prompted to give a befitting response.

An army officer said the army was giving a befitting response to the ceasefire violation from the Pakistani side.
