Amit Shah meets SP leader in top secret meeting

BJP President Amit Shah's bungalow on Akbar Road had a visitor on Monday -- an extremely senior Samajwadi Party leader. The top secret meeting was organised by a BJP MP from UP. The Samajwadi Party leader is a'big catch' admits BJP leaders and wants to join the party by mid November, just before the announcement of the UP and Uttarakhand poll dates.

Amit Shah wants Brahmin leaders in Congress to join the BJP like Rita Bahuguna Joshi. After her defection yesterday, there are more district-level Brahmin leaders of the Congress who want a BJP ticket to contest the UP polls. Shah has a list of these aspirants and during his visits to districts will ensure that each of these Congress leaders will issue a statement condemning the Congress party, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi and the BJP's UP face, Sheela Dikshit.
