1 dead, many injured after stampede at Mayawati's rally

One person has died and 22 others have been injured after a stampede at Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati's rally in Uttar Pradesh.

Several children are also reportedly missing after broke out at the rally.

Earlier, during the rally, the BSP chief attacked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at Centre and accused it of spreading hatred and communalism in Uttar Pradesh.

Hitting out at Akhilesh Yadav government for deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, she said the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh has disappointed the people completely.
