'Those questioning surgical strikes are treacherous'

General Shankar Roy Chowdhury was chief of the army staff from 1994 to 1997 when he retired after 40 years of service. The general is furious after some politicians questioned the army's surgical strikes in Pakistan on September 29. "These people are definitely anti-national to question the army's surgical strikes," the general told Rediff.com's Syed Firdaus Ashraf.
