Zee buys out Anil Ambani-owned TV biz, picks up 49% stake in radio

Just In: The Subhash Chandra-owned Zee group has acquired the general entertainment broadcasting business of Reliance Big Broadcasting Private Limited, Big Magic Limited & Azalia Broadcast Private Limited, all part of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group Entities, through its Zee Entertainment Enterprises.

It has also picked up a 49 per cent stake in 92.7 BIG FM, the radio broadcasting business of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited, through Zee Media Corporation.
