*Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav will formally launch the party's election campaign with his first rally at Ghazipur. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has already kick-started the party's campaign with Samajwadi Vikas Rath Yatra on November 3. The party's election campaign was delayed due to the family feud and Mulayam cancelling the rally from Azamgarh to start the poll campaign.

*Trinamool Congress will hold a protest against demonetisation at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

*The Supreme Court will hear the Centre's plea seeking stay on all hearings in various courts in connection with the demonetisation issue.

*Opposition parties to hold a massive protest outside Parliament against demonetisation. They have been demanding the prime minister to come to the House and respond on the issue. However, so far, the government hasn't accepted their demand.

*Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das will brief media later today with demonetisation updates.
