Rejecting TMC and AAP's demand of rolling back of the demonetisation move, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that he expected all political parties to support BJP government's move.

He said the government's decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes to Rs. 2,000 will abandon the misuse of funds for generating black money.

"Nearly two lakh ATMs exist as of now to serve the people with enough cash. In the last seven days, the banks have brought down the rush and there is less panic," Jaitley said in an interview with news agency ANI.

Takign a dig at Kejriwal and Mamata, the finance minister said, "Most CMs have used state apparatus to support this move. I appreciate that. Some CMs, however, are spreading panic."
