Debate on demonetisation in Lok Sabha today, Rahul likely to speak

The second day of winter session will see a discussion on demonetisation in the Lok Sabha too, while discussion in the Rajya Sabha will continue.

The Opposition will move an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is also expected to speak on the issue.

The Opposition wants Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respond on the issue. A Joint Parliamentary Committee probe has also been sought. -- Agencies
