Two police officers shot in Pennsylvania: Reports

Two police officers were shot in a town in Pennsylvania on Thursday, according to media reports.

The armed suspect opened fire immediately on the officers as soon as they arrived at the scene of a reported domestic dispute. 

After hitting the two officers, the man, who is believed to have been involved in a row with his pregnant wife, ran from the scene.   

The two officers were shot at 3.15am local time in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, which is approximately 25 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, according to WPXI.com.
