2 Kannada actors drowned during film shooting

Two Kannada actors drowned during shooting of a movie at Tippagondanahalli Lake on Magadi Road, 35km west of Bengaluru.

Three actors Duniya Vijay, Anil and Uday jumped into the lake from a helicopter while doing a stunt for the film Masti Gudi.

While Vijay swam to the shore, the two other actors did not surface.

The incident took place at around 3 pm. Sources allege that adequate safety measures were not taken during the shoot, and prior rehearsal for the shoot had not taken place.
