Former Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry on Tuesday refuted the allegations that he took decisions on the NTT Docomo deal on his own. He said all decisions related to the deal had been taken with the unanimous approval of the Tata Sons board.

"All decisions were collective decisions and the actions were consistent with every such collective decision. To suggest I acted on my own or without knowledge and/or concurrence of Ratan Tata on Docomo deal false and mischievous," Mistry said.

Mistry said that he kept in loop interim chairman Ratan Tata and Tata trustee NA Soonawala on the litigation with NTT Docomo over the latters exit from their loss-making joint venture Tata Teleservices Ltd.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mistrys offices said both Tata and Soonawala participated in the meeting with the legal counsel (who also happened to be a trustee of the Dorabji Tata trust) and who represented Tatas in the litigation. "At all times Ratan Tata and Soonawala concurred and approved the course of action adopted by Tatas and as advised by legal counsel," said Mistry.
