Akhil Bharatiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti president Yashpal Malik said on Sunday that they will hold a Jat Nyay rally (justice for Jats rally) in Haryana from June 5 as the Haryana chief minister has not fulfilled the promises he made to Jats on February 22.

We will be holding a rally as promises by the Haryana CM have not been fulfilled. We were promised that the ones who were arrested during the Jat quota stir will be released and compensation will be given to (the kin of) those who were killed and injured, Malik said.

Apparently threatening that the protests may turn violent like the previous one, he said the protestors are free to take their call.

We will hold a peaceful protest but, if police retaliates or tries to stop us using violence, then protesters are free to take their call, he said.
