Militants kill youth in south Kashmir

Suspected militants this evening shot at and killed a civilian in south Kashmir Kulgam district reports Mukhtar Ahmed/Rediff.com.

A senior police officer said militants fired at Manzoor Ahmad Palla, a carpenter by profession at Batpora village.

"Manzoor succumbed to injuries before he could be evacuated to hospital, " the officer said.

Police has rushed to the spot.
