Anandiben to be sent as governor to Punjab?

The BJP is considering replacing Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, sources said, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah craft a strategy to ensure that the party retains their home state in assembly elections next year. She could be sent as a governor to Punjab or Haryana.

Anandiben replaced Narendra Modi when he moved to the Centre as prime minister. Her innings has been marked by turmoil, mainly created by a long-drawn agitation spearheaded by a Patel grouping, demanding the community be listed as an "other backward caste" and conferred reservation in education and jobs.
