RSS chief may meet Trupti Desai after June

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has agreed to meet Bhumata Brigade president Trupti Desai who had sought an audience with him demanding that women be allowed to become members of the outfit, however the meeting is not likely to be held anytime soon.

The meeting could be possible only after June as Bhagwat is busy attending the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's camps, RSS national communication head Aniruddha Deshpande said today.

"(Trupti) Desai had sought a meeting with Bhagwatji, however, RSS' national camps are being organised in the country and Bhagwatji will be attending these camps in May and June and scheduling the meeting during this period is not possible," Deshpande said.
