Prime Minister Narendra Modi is upset with his party MPs for their behaviour in Parliament. In an indirect attack on certain MPs who do not fall in line with the party line, Modi asked his MPs to spend seven nights in their Parliament constituencies. The MPs were surprised to hear the PM's 'harsh' words, we understand.

In a meeting held this morning, PM Narendra Modi has told his party MPs to spend at least seven nights in their Parliamentary constituencies ahead of the government's second anniversary this month. MPs have been told to advertise the different welfare schemes and reforms introduced by the government and to collate a wish-list from the public. The feedback is then to be presented to PM Modi by small clusters of MPs.

Ministers will be rostered to travel to 200 places around India to share the accomplishments of their departments, and to address complaints, said Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

The BJP Parliamentary Party meets on Tuesdays when the Parliament is in session. Today is the last Tuesday in the Budget session as Parliament will be adjourned sine die.
