Harish Rawat's floor test begins in Uttarakhand, Congress gets BSP support, loses one member who switched sides, gains 1 member from BJP.

With its nine rebel MLAs barred from voting in today's trust vote, the Congress will still have the support of 27 MLAs including the Speaker, in the assembly today. Harish Rawat can prove majority with the support of only 31 legislators, since the effective strength of the 70-member House will be 61.

Equally, if 31 MLAs vote against him, he fails.
