Congress MLA Rekha Arya crosses over to the BJP, but another BJP MLA Bhimlal Arya moves to Congress, so it's even stevens.
Congress legislators spent the night before Harish Rawat's big trust vote at resorts in hill town Mussoorie. But Rekha Arya, was not among them. About an hour before the assembly is convened for the special two-hour session, Arya had still not been spotted, leading to panic in the Congress and speculation on whether she plans to jump ship, which she has.
So close is today's trust vote expected to be, that one vote could mean the difference winning and losing.
Meanwhile, BSP Chief Mayawati says there is 'No deal with BJP, our party is supporting Congress'. So, that's a big relief for Harish Rawat.
