BJP's Subramanian Swamy counters Congress on Agusta case. I will begin  by point out that on one occasion last week you had expunged my statement in which I tried to quote the letter from Michel, says Swamy.

"This has nothing to do with vendetta," says Swamy, who was inducted into the Rajya Sabha just last week. The Congress has said that Swamy, whose statements in the RS has been struck off the record twice, is a gift from the BJP government.

As the debate continues in Parliament, Swamy said, "It is true that NDA had initiated the process for buying eight new choppers to replace six old choppers which were purchased in 1998. The investigation is in its early stages. There are some admitted facts which cannot be denied. It is a lie to say that NDA Govt was the one to change specification of height (of the helicopters)."
