After a desultory morning session, the Parliament will now begin debating and discussing the AgustaWestland chopper deal.  Defence minister Manohar Parrikar rises to make his statement on the AgustaWestland chopper deal. It's the Gandhis vs the government, as the BJP comes armed with questions. BJP's Bhupender Yadav begins the discussions saying the AgustaWestland debate is important because it's directly related to military and procurement for the nation's defence. The Congress changed operational requirements to include Agusta The government created a single vendor situation to help Agusta. The truth of the deal must come out. A convenient backdoor entry was created for Agusta, says Yadav.
