Agusta disrupts RS again after Azad talks of deal between Modi-Italian PM

BJP's Bhupender Yadav moves privilege motion against Leader of Oppostion in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad for saying there's deal between Indian PM Narendra Modi and Italian President to fix Sonia Gandhi.


The Trinamool Congress also gave a notice in the Rajya Sabha to suspend all other matters until a discussion on AgustaWestland scam is conducted. Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien says the notice is under examination by the Chairman.


Rajya Sabha adjourned for 30 minutes. The TMC asks Defence Minister to give a statement.


Yesterday, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said that he would give all details including documents about AgustaWestland deal before Parliament on May 4. "I will place the detailed chronology with documents giving facts about AgustaWestland chopper deal before Parliament on May 4," Parrikar said.
